<aside> ⚠️ Read this before you enable SAML

Enabling SAML affects all users who use this application. Users on the domain you select won't be able to sign in through their regular sign-in page. They are able to access the app through the Okta service.

Backup URL

Onyxia doesn't provide a backup sign-in URL where users can sign in using their regular username and password. If necessary, contact Onyxia Support ([email protected]) to turn off SAML.

Prerequisites

When using SAML as the SSO mode with provisioning, you need to have a paid Onyxia account and you will have to log in as the account owner or account admin

Supported features

• IdP-initiated SSO
• SP-initiated SSO
  • The SP-initiated SSO URL is https://auth.onyxia.io/oauth/account/login
• Just-In-Time provisioning

Configuration steps

1. Sign in to Onyxia as the account owner

2. Navigate to "Settings > Account Settings" and select the SSO tab

1. Press the “Add New Connection” button

1. Log into your Okta admin portal and navigate to Applications. Then press the “Browse App Catalog” button.

1. Search for “Onyxia” in the app catalog and select the Onyxia application

1. Press the “Add Integration” button

1. Press the “Done” button

1. Navigate to the “Sign On” tab and press the “More details” button
